This time last year!

I know I haven't updated in a long time due to the combination of being busy with school, work and being a mommy! Leo started crawling at 6 months and begain walking at around 9 months. He can say "dada"...of course, although he doesn't associate it with anyone. He also says: "mama", "ball", "stop", "bye bye". He's been waving and pointing for a while now. He is getting so big. Whenever I say, "Leo, where's the light?", he will look up and look for it. He is so freakin' smart. I'm pretty sure I have a baby genius on my hands! ;] Pointing to things and saying the names over and over  helped him learn a lot of the things he knows.

He goes to daycare since Jan of this year. While I work, go to school, or study. He took to it very fast and he learns so many things while he's in there too. He LOVES his teachers which it awesome. He has come home with bite marks a few times though! Makes me mad! :[ They always send notes home when he hurts his self, but I mean I believe the parents need to teach their kids biting is BAD.

We still do CD, but part time, if that. I am just too busy with school to take the time every so often to wash the diapers and put them away. I also think when Leo poops gets to be more formed I will do them more often.

School has been going excellent for me. I completed my PCT course and got my certification. I then got my CNA liscense which was so nerve wrecking for me! I was one of the VERY FEW that passed. Thank God! So now I have been applying to hospitals in my area. Hoping to hear from them soo! I still go to school during the Summer, only part time though.

I still work at the mall...and it SUCKS monkey balls, but money is money. Speaking about money. Leo's dad ( I don't remember where I left off with him) We of course are no longer together. He RARELY comes to see Leo once a month if that. Once he went 2 months without seeing him. It is so unfortunate for Leo. I just want my son to have a father figure. I wish things were different. I guess he will never change. He is behind on CS, and the courts can't do anything about it because the federal govt has threatened to sue my county? YEA, I know right?
