Leo has arrived!

Leo came 3 days early on July 13th at 2:00 a.m. he weighed 8 lbs. 8oz. I was in labor for 22 hours. That previous morning I had woken up at 4 in the morning with little contractions like I have had before but I didnt think  much of them b/c of what had happened before...well they didn't go away they got stronger and closer as I woke up walked around and fixed BD breakfast and took a shower. So i told me mom that I think i needed to go to the doc so she called in work and let them know and off we went. Well I kept having contractions on the way there and when we got there they kind of got further apart so i was worried it was nothing although the ones i would have were strong!! so finally we got called back and I got check and was 5 centimeters!!! So they sent us to the hospital! we got there and got settled. Family started coming. I got the epi it was good it took away the pain for the MOST part up until the end when I had to push It hurt SOOO Bad?!!!! I think it wore off seriously...they got me on pitocin to progress labor cause i had stalled. I got to 10 centimeters finally after A whole bunch of ways the nurses had me. sitting up...a  big ball between my legs...left side...right side. Well it was time to push and it just was not happening leo didnt move down at all. so i ended up with a csection...it was ok i guess. the best part was meeting my son and  hearing him cry for the first time. then we moved into recovery room. Leo's eyes were so big and open he was sooo alert. I fell in love with him instantly. I struggled with breastfeeding at the hospital because it took forever for my milk to come in!! but i made it through...Leo will be officially 1 month tomorrow going by months b/c he is already 4 weeks and some days. Things are much more difficult then I expected. Sleep is a distant memory and so is "me time" and being able to drop and go. lol the things that change when you are a mom. I know these difficult days will get better, but when your living them right now it's hard to realize that at times. I love my son regardless he is so big already. I start school monday. This should be interesting!!!
